Senior professionals: many virtues!

Too often, companies have been using a lot of young professionals with academic background and little work experience and life, claiming that "no vices" or "adhere more easily to DNA of the corporation" etc.. This is another one of the myths that HR has spread virally and little thought. Some folklores are created and stimulated by the professionals who end up "swallowing" some ideas without at least examine their veracity and influence in corporate practice. It is likely that many professionals already bordering on 20 or 25 years of experience have many "paradigms crystallized," as well as many young people I know, think like my grandmother thought. In reality, what is to be understood that the generation gap has always existed in human history and has been increasing, due to advances in preventive medicine and other concerns about the quality of life that has provided greater longevity and health for people with more age. So generations meet and collide in corporations so "visible" because we have Veterans, Baby Boomers, X and Y coexisting in the same space, the same projects, the same cells. What HR professionals need in reality is to understand the "conflict" within a broader sociological perspective, considering that all stages of life, adhere new knowledge, new understandings, reflect successes and mistakes, and often destroy and overcome paradigms, regardless of biological age. I consider that the Seniors are "alive" because they have, in fact, MANY VIRTUES.
